Job Description
Location: Geraldton Port
Roster: On-Call
Hourly Rate: $***** per hour + Superannuation
Type: Casual
We are looking for Front-End Loader Operators to join our Geraldton team on a casual basis. The role involves operating front-end wheel loaders to handle iron ore and other bulk commodities efficiently and safely.
This is a fast-paced production environment where maintaining high volume output is crucial. To succeed in this role, you'll need previous experience in a similar environment and be comfortable working at a consistent, high production pace.
Requirements




Familiarity with shed maintenance, ore stockpile management, and remote site work.
Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.
Comfortable working at a consistent, high production pace
Knowledge of and commitment to complying with Australian Federal Laws and Western Australia state laws and regulations.
Good record-keeping, which is essential for compliance purposes.
Ability to carry out routine maintenance to mobile plant, and report faults.
Ability to follow strict workplace and safety procedures & have an ongoing commitment to safe work practices.
Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
Qualifications
Valid and current drivers licence
Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL).
Relevant VOC's for other machinery operations.
Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
