Key responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate bar staff, including bartenders, bar attendants and other service team members
Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally
Assist with staff rostering, shift allocation, attendance and daily operational requirements
Train, guide and support recent and existing staff in bar service procedures
Ensure alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are prepared and served to the required standards
Monitor stock levels, manage beverage inventory and assist with ordering supplies
Conduct regular stocktakes and minimise wastage, breakages and stock losses
Ensure the bar is clean, organised and maintained in accordance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene requirements
Ensure compliance with Queensland liquor licensing laws, responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements and venue policies
Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, EFTPOS transactions and end-of-shift reconciliations
