DentEssential Dental Surgery is seeking a motivated, friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. You will provide clinical support in a qualified and welcoming environment, assisting the dentist with a variety of dental procedures and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Key responsibilities
Assisting the dentist with a variety of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and setting up instruments and equipment
Sterilising instruments and maintaining high standards of infection control
Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, organised and ready for patients
Providing friendly and compassionate care to patients
Maintaining accurate clinical records and assisting with patient documentation
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
Assisting with reception duties, appointment scheduling and patient enquiries (when required)
About you
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required)




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly, professional and patient-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A good understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures
The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
