Port Central Pantry is a fast-paced café located in Port Central Shopping Centre serving fresh, quality breakfast and lunch dishes daily. We are recruiting for Front of House Café All Rounders and Kitchen Hands / Cooks who enjoy working in a team environment, thrive under pressure and take pride in delivering great food and customer service.
Key responsibilities
Providing friendly, efficient customer service
Taking orders and processing payments
Preparing and serving food and beverages
Coffee making and barista duties where experienced
Maintaining a clean, organised café
Supporting the team during busy breakfast and lunch services
Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch menu items (Cook role)
Assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen operations
Supporting the kitchen during busy service periods
Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards




Assisting with stock preparation and general kitchen duties
About you
Barista experience highly regarded
Friendly, energetic and customer-focused
Reliable, punctual and a robust team player
Confident working in a fast-paced environment
Cooking experience required for Cook applicants
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
Reliable, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
A friendly, supportive and hardworking team
A busy and energetic café environment
