We are seeking a skilled Labourer preferably with experience in water reticulation construction to join our team at FLO-TEK Civil Constructions Pty Ltd in Melbourne, VIC. As a Labourer in our watermain construction division, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of critical infrastructure projects that serve the local community. This is a full-time, permanent position.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water mains and associated infrastructure
Operating a range of hand and power tools to complete construction tasks
Providing support to more experienced tradespeople and technical team members
Ensuring work sites are kept clean, safe, and organised
Adhering to all safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and your colleagues
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a labourer in the civil construction or related industry
Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
Relevant construction industry certifications or licences (desirable)
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) - essential
Full working rights in Australia or valid work visa
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to various work sites
