Essential Chiropractic & Healthcare Clinic is looking for an exceptional practitioner to join our team in Reservoir.
We have an established patient base ready to be serviced by the right practitioner. We are looking for someone who combines excellent hands-on treatment skills with genuine care for patients, outstanding communication and the motivation to help grow our myotherapy and remedial massage services.

Our myotherapy and remedial massage services have been part of the clinic since ****. We have over 22,000 patients on our database.
Our team currently provides Chiropractic, Myotherapy, Remedial Massage and Podiatry services in a professional, collaborative and patient-focused environment.

The opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to step into an established clinic with an existing patient base, professional infrastructure and the support needed to develop a rewarding and sustainable practice.
You will have your own treatment room and the opportunity to take responsibility for your patients, develop strong therapeutic relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our services.

Your role will include:
Providing high-quality remedial massage and/or myotherapy treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
Assessing patients appropriately, identifying treatment priorities and developing effective treatment plans within your scope of practice.




Communicating clearly about treatment goals, progress, self-management and ongoing care where clinically appropriate.
Building trust and rapport to encourage patient confidence, continuity of care and appropriate rebooking.
Working collaboratively with our chiropractors and other healthcare practitioners to support coordinated patient care and appropriate referrals.
Helping grow the myotherapy and remedial massage patient base through excellent service, professional relationships, word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals.
Maintaining accurate clinical records and meeting relevant professional, ethical and practice requirements.

Who we are looking for
Qualifications and experience are important, but we are equally interested in the person behind them.
The ideal candidate is an experienced practitioner who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping people and understands that excellent clinical care and excellent communication go hand in hand.
You will ideally be someone who:




Holds an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy and/or a recognised Remedial Massage qualification appropriate to the role.
Has proven clinical experience in remedial massage and/or myotherapy.
Previous clinical experience is essential.
Meets the eligibility requirements for relevant private health fund rebates.
Has strong hands-on treatment skills, sound clinical reasoning and a patient-centred approach.
Is confident communicating with patients, explaining treatment recommendations and discussing realistic outcomes.
Builds rapport easily and understands the importance of trust, professionalism and patient experience.
Is reliable, well presented, organised and committed to maintaining high professional standards.
Enjoys working independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
Is motivated to develop their skills, learn from others and continue improving as a practitioner.
Takes initiative in developing their practice through patient satisfaction, appropriate follow-up, retention and professional referrals.
Strong patient retention and repeat-booking habits.
Clear communication and confidence explaining treatment plans.
Positive relationships with other healthcare practitioners.
Initiative in developing a patient base through quality care and professional referrals.
Reliability, maturity and a genuine commitment to patient outcomes.

Hours and remuneration
Flexible working arrangements of approximately 2-4 days per week.
Advertised rate: $60-$80 per hour plus, depending on experience and the agreed arrangement. The contractor role allows the right candidate great flexibility.
