Summary
ME Medical Recruitment is actively seeking a qualified General Psychiatrist to join a agile team in regional Western Australia, located approximately 4.5 hours from Perth. This full-time position offers the flexibility of an immediate 12-month contract with potential for extension, or a longer-term commitment of three to five years starting early next year. For eligible candidates, visa sponsorship is available, making this an ideal prospect for professionals looking to practice in a recent environment with secure employment terms.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans to patients in a regional setting.
Provide ongoing mental health care,



including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and support.
Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to all relevant medical standards and regulations.
Adapt to the needs of the community while managing a full caseload of patients.
Requirements
Hold current FRANZCP certification, be on the Expedited Pathway, or possess credentials deemed substantially comparable by RANZCP.
Possess the ability to commence work immediately or within the timeframe specified for the chosen contract duration.
Demonstrate professional registration and the capacity to practice independently in a regional location.
Show flexibility and commitment to long-term or contract-based service delivery in regional healthcare.
