School Cleaners – casual pool. Work as part of the team maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the school in a child safe environment dedicated to fostering a welcoming and healthy atmosphere that supports learning and growth.
Key responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the school
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas
Replenish supplies in toilets and other areas as needed
Properly dispose of garbage and recycling
Close up and lock premises daily
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the school administration
Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols
About you
Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Solid attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness




Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving cleaning equipment
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Essential - Clear current Working With Children check (Employee)
Salary based on award
Hours of work – only weekdays afternoon/evening
