Challenge Employment and Training Ltd is a well-established not-for-profit RTO. We deliver training and employment support programs across multiple locations in Southeast Queensland.

We are currently seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver the
CHC***** – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability)
at our Cleveland location. This is a casual position with the possibility of transitioning to full time employment for the right candidate.
-This training will be delivered in a face-to-face classroom setting, 4 days per week. Training will be supported by online learning and Learner Management Systems (LMS).
TAE*****/TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent
)
Relevant qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or higher) in Individual Support/Community Care
Soundunderstanding of the Community Services Industry
Recent and relevant industry experience (at least 2 years)
Current Driver's Licence
The ability totrain and assess
HLTAID011 - Provide first aid
would be highly regarded

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver and assess the
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)
Use engaging and varied teaching methods to inspire learners
Planning lessons and updating training materials as needed
Mark and submit assessments within required timeframes
Support students with
work placement coordination
Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes
Build and sustain relationships with
community partners
and
local employers
