About the role
We're looking for a Sales Representative to manage and grow a portfolio of existing trade and industrial customers while developing current business opportunities across the local market.
This role offers a unique combination of customer relationship management, account growth and proactive sales activity.
You'll be based from our Mile End branch while spending time in the field meeting customers, strengthening existing relationships and uncovering new opportunities.
This role will have access to a company vehicle for customer visits.
What you'll be doing
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of trade and industrial customers.
Build strong relationships with tradies, site supervisors and key customer contacts.
Conduct proactive customer visits and maintain regular account contact.
Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
Develop and implement customer growth plans.
Track opportunities, activities and customer interactions.
Provide product and solution recommendations to customers.
Achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
Collaborate closely with branch teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
We're looking for someone who:
Experience in B2B sales, trade sales, industrial sales, wholesale distribution or customer-facing account management.
Confidence engaging with a broad range of stakeholders from tradespeople through to office-based decision-makers.
A proactive and resilient approach to prospecting and business development.




Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sales outcomes.
Experience using CRM systems is highly regarded.
Product knowledge within industrial, safety, construction, manufacturing or trade environments will be advantageous
