The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to join a major package of works at
Sizewell C
on behalf of
our client.
The role will support the delivery of a critical
desalination plant infrastructure package
, including
Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC) works
, concrete structures, structural steel, cladding and associated civil engineering works.
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this is a hands‐on site‐based position overseeing a workforce of approximately 22 operatives and subcontractors while managing the technical, engineering and construction aspects of the project.
Responsibilities
Supporting the delivery of FRC and reinforced concrete structures
Managing technical engineering documentation and submittals
Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Raising and managing Technical Queries (TQs)
Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to quality standards
Liaising with the Operations Director and wider project team
Monitoring progress and resolving technical issues on site
Supporting structural steel,



cladding and civil engineering packages
Maintaining project records, inspections and quality documentation
Requirements
Previous experience working on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong background in
reinforced concrete and Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC)
Experience with
concrete structures, structural steel and cladding packages
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design information
Experience managing submittals, TQs and engineering documentation
Solid site‐based delivery and coordination experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Existing Sizewell C induction is essential
Must be comfortable working in a hands‐on site environment five days per week
This role would suit a
strong Civils Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Section Engineer or Project Engineer
with extensive concrete and structural experience looking to work on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
