We are seeking experienced
Support Workers
to join our Home & Living team on a
permanent part-time basis
, at our
Mulgrave
site.
The role will be to work a minimum of 30 hours per fortnight, with a regular pattern of work across Monday to Sunday, including Morning, Day and PM Shifts.
Job Description
Araluen's
goal for every participant is to assist in the development of their skills to increase independence, promote empowerment and encourage choice and control in all areas.
This role works under limited supervision with readily available assistance.
Staff are encouraged to use their initiative, to assist in facilitating active supports and to always provide each participant with the supports as directed by them one person at a time in an inclusive way.

Robust communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team




Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Confidence with documentation and basic computer systems
Willingness to assist with personal care and daily living supports
