About The Chance
The primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage the service function, ensuring all repair, maintenance and warranty work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while delivering timely, professional after-sales support that drives customer retention.
Reporting directly to the
Operations Manager
, some of your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the warranty claims process and liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
Reporting on team KPIs, job completion rates, warranty metrics and customer feedback
Leading, managing and developing the service team, including technicians and support staff
Overseeing daily service operations, including job scheduling, prioritisation and work allocation
Maintaining and enforcing WHS standards, including safety briefings,



toolbox talks and compliance checks
Acting as the escalation point for complex customer issues and building strong relationships with key customers
Preparing service quotes and growing service revenue through maintenance agreements, upgrades and additional services
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience
in a service management or team leadership role
Strong technical knowledge of
hoisting equipment, mechanical systems or related industrial products
(highly desirable)
Relevant trade qualifications or technical background (desirable)Experience managing
WHS compliance
and fostering a safety-first culture
Experience with job management systems, CRM and service scheduling tools
A commercial mindset, confident communication and a
hands-on, solutions-focused leadership style
Excellent organisational and customer service skills, with the ability to manage difficult situations professionally
