About the opportunity **This is a 3-month full-time contract with an ASAP start date** Our client is looking for an Accounts Clerk - Accounts Receivable to join their team.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will keep the debtors ledger accurate and look after the records for finance contracts and machines, working closely with the Accountant, the Financial Controller and the Service, Hire and Parts departments.
In this role, you will: Check credit, process credit applications and set up customer accounts Bank customer payments, reconcile debtor accounts and process refunds Follow up overdue accounts with 7-day letters and payment plans, and work with the debt collection agency and legal firm Prepare weekly lists of outstanding invoices for the Service, Hire and Parts departments Keep finance contract records up to date and reconcile them with finance provider statements Process credit card payments, cash transfers and machine HP payments, and complete the daily bank reconciliation Maintain machine records and the Machinery Payment Schedule,



and process machine sales invoices and rebates Complete month-end reconciliations and help with the financial year reconciliations Enter and monitor invoices on customer portals such as Quadrem and Ariba Prepare and lodge payroll tax each month, and keep FBT records for company vehicles Cover accounts payable during leave, and help with reception when needed About you You are an experienced accounts receivable qualified who pays close attention to detail and works well with limited supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven accounts receivable experience, or experience in a similar role Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, and an understanding of local credit control legislation Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and the ability to build rapport Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team What s on offer A full accounts receivable role covering debtors, banking, finance contracts and machine records Exposure to systems including InspHire, BankWest, Quadrem and Ariba How to apply Submit your CV outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
