Clinical assistant - all training provided
The Grange Eye Centre – Port Macquarie NSW
The Clinical Assistant is required to work Wednesday 8.30am-4.00pm and Thursday 8.30am-1.30pm as well as provide occasional relief work of a Monday and Tuesday.Our ophthalmology practice is open Monday to Thursday. The successful candidate will be provided with full training.
The duties include:
Performing ophthalmic testing using various equipment
Measuring patient vision, pressures, and completing other eye screenings
Assist the doctor with clinical procedures
Friendly, professional care provided to all patients
To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to work under pressure within a team environment as this is a busy practice. If you have a nursing, optical or carer background and are willing to learn recent skills/duties, then this position may be suitable.
If you have another position or are studying Monday to Thursday, then this position may not be for you as we will require you to be available for relief work.
