About The Role
An established public practice firm on the southern Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. You will join a flat, supportive structure where every accountant is valued equally, working on quality family groups and property investor clients with no BD pressure. The firm wants long term staff, with room for partnership down the track for the right person.
What You Will Be Doing
Preparing financial statements and tax returns for family groups across all entity types
Providing advisory to property investors on residential and commercial investments
Tax planning and advice for business owners
BAS, IAS and FBT compliance
Working directly with clients and the partners
Supporting and reviewing work of less experienced accountants
What We Are Looking For
Solid Australian public practice experience in Business Services and Tax
CA/CPA qualified or progressing




Strong technical knowledge across individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
Commercial mindset and confidence advising clients
Humble, team-first attitude and not title focused
Seeking a long term move with a quality firm
Highly market-competitive salary with substantial pay rises for strong performers
Extra week of annual leave at Christmas based on team performance (achieved the last 7 years), with further days added when targets are exceeded
Early 2pm Friday finish every fortnight
