Reporting to management, you will help oversee daily venue operations, support and lead staff, deliver excellent customer service and ensure the Club operates safely, efficiently and in line with all relevant regulations and procedures. With gaming, bistro, bar and functions operations, this is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, leading a team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the venue.
Key responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day operations across bar, bistro, function and gaming areas
Lead, support and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service
Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times
Manage compliance with all RSA, RSG, and gaming regulations
Assist with training and performance management
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Open and close the venue as required
Monitor gaming operations and ensure procedures and documentation are completed accurately
Assist with staff rostering, shift coordination and operational requirements
Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for members, guests and staff
About you




Previous experience as a Venue Supervisor, Duty manager or senior hospitality team member
Experience in a busy club, pub, RSL or similar hospitality environment
Holds a current RSA, RSG modules and relevant Victorian Gaming Industry Employee Licence (essential)
The ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
Robust leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
A sound understanding of gaming compliance and responsible service requirements
The ability to work independently, make sound decisions and manage competing priorities
The ability to be flexible, organised and willing to lead by example
Excellent customer service and creating a positive team environment
Competitive salary of $76,000 per annum plus Super
Five weeks of annual leave per year
A rotating roster over mornings, evenings and weekends that includes a full weekend off every three weeks
