We are an established Water Truck manufacturer seeking an experienced welder/fabricator for a 3 month casual position. The role entails reading drawings in order to fabricate skid frames and associated pipework. At the end of the 3 months it is possible to move to a full time role in our organisation.
Key responsibilities
Fabricate skid frames and associated pipework
Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings with precision and accuracy
Perform MIG welding on mild steel materials
Perform some rotowelding of pipe pieces
Heavy lifting and standing for long periods
About you
Minimum 3-5 years of welding and fabrication experience
Proficient in MIG welding processes
Able to read and easily understand drawings
Above average, skilled welder/fabricator
Trade certificate or completed apprenticeship in welding/fabrication required
Lathe experience an advantage
Potential successful applicants will need to perform a weld test
