Moldflow is a world-leading tool for simulating plastic injection molding.
Plastic part designers and mold engineers use it in many industries, including automotive, medical, and high-value consumer products.
You'll work with a team of software engineers on the application side of Moldflow, mainly the user interface and API.
You'll help improve existing features, build current ones, and make the product easier and more productive to use and to extend.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement testable, readable, production-quality code.Build and improve user interface features in MoldflowDevelop and extend Moldflow's API, including Python-based automation and scriptingUse AI-assisted development tools sensibly to speed up coding, testing, and documentationJoin team discussions, code reviews, and planning, and work closely with teammates throughout the development lifecycleMinimum QualificationsEnrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Science or a similar field at an accredited university in AustraliaExpected to complete your degree in ****Coursework or project experience with C++ and PythonProgramming experience in a Windows, macOS, or Linux environmentKnowledge of core computer science subjects, especially object-oriented programming and data structuresReasonable familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and good judgment about when and how to use themAbility to work well in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInternship period: January – December **** (12 months,
