About the roleBrisbane Private Hospital are currently seeking a casual CSSD Technician to join our agile perioperative team.
Shifts will vary across AM, PM and night shifts on rotational basis.Key responsibilities will include:Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areasComply with AS/NZ standards AS ****:****Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirementsReport and document all quality activitiesEnsure priority of instrumentation and processesAbout usBrisbane Private is a 181-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 18 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands.
Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.Sound knowledge of AS ****:****Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentationCompleted or working towards Cert III in SterilisationExperience with tracking systemsDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailIntermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data baseAn interest in promoting best practice patient careA focus on professional developmentWhy Healthscope?
