Data Analyst (Contract)Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven professional to join a dynamic team focused on third‐party software and licensing analysis. In this role, you will coordinate and implement changes to reporting infrastructure, leveraging tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to deliver actionable insights. You will apply your expertise in database management systems and querying to support data‐driven decision‐making across the organization. This is a fully remote position requiring availability within the Pacific Time Zone, offering a Monday through Friday schedule at 40 hours per week with potential for extension.Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior management, technical teams, and client stakeholders to determine data requirements and business data implementation approachesCoordinate and implement changes to reporting solutions including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric dashboardsDesign, implement, automate, and maintain large‐scale enterprise data ETL processesWrite and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database management systemsModify existing databases and database management systems, directing programmers and analysts to make changes as neededTest programs and databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications to ensure data integrityApply best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategiesDeliver analytical recommendations and insights to measure and optimize costs, including AI‐related spend analysisRequirements2+ years of hands‐on experience with data analysis,
