CARPET, UPHOLSTERY & MATTRESS PAY
CARPET & UPHOLSTERY STEAM CLEANING: $30 per 40-minute unit, $75 minimum per booking. The same unit rate applies to suitable upholstery and mattress items.
Carpet units: bedroom 1 unit, living room 2, hallway 0.5, stairs 1.5.
Upholstery: 3-seater sofa 3, armchair 1.
Mattresses: single 1, queen 2, king 2.5.
Examples at the base rate: 3 bedrooms + hallway: $105 (2h 20m); 3-seater sofa + 2 armchairs: $150 (3h 20m); Queen mattress only: $75 (1h 40m, minimum).
Figures show the whole carpet scope at the base rate, including GST where applicable. Team allocations and agreed rates are reflected in each offer. Amounts are before your business costs and tax.





WHAT YOU NEED

- At least one year of professional cleaning experience and a careful approach to customers' homes
- A working carpet extraction machine suitable for full rooms, with carpet and stair tools
- Suitable cleaning products and a way to transport your equipment to jobs
- For upholstery and mattress jobs: a compatible upholstery extraction attachment and experience checking care labels, testing a hidden area first and controlling moisture
- An ABN, Australian bank account, verified photo ID and the other checks required during the application
- Transparent communication and the ability to follow job details and customer instructions

You can start with carpet jobs and add upholstery and mattress work later once you have the compatible attachment and are ready for that work.
