We are seeking an experienced Food Services Assistant to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. In this fast‑paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, maintain a friendly and positive attitude and commit to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required
- Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture




- Provide high standard of customer service
- Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
- Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Requirements

- Authority to work in Australia
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Experience in aged care or hospital environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Commitment to service excellence
- Solid communication and customer skills
- Work well independently and within a team
