Parks Worker | $43.51/hr | Sunshine Coast Council

Public Sector People is seeking a reliable temporary Parks Worker to join Sunshine Coast Regional Council’s team in Caloundra.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone with horticulture or arboriculture qualifications who enjoys outdoor work and contributing to the maintenance of council parks and public spaces.

- Council: Sunshine Coast Regional Council
- Location: Caloundra, QLD
- Pay Rate: $43.51 per hour
- Engagement: Casual
- Dates: 2 November 2026 – 30 January 2027
- Hours: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm

About the Role

- Assist with parks and grounds maintenance.
- Help maintain council parks, gardens and public spaces.
- Undertake practical outdoor maintenance duties.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

- Hold a (min) Certificate II in Horticulture or Arboriculture.
- Hold a current Class C driver's licence.
- Have practical parks and grounds maintenance experience.
- Be reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable undertaking physical, outdoor work.
