Healthcare Australia is seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist for a locum opportunity with Grampians Health in Victoria.

This position involves working across the Adult Acute Unit and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team , supporting the delivery of specialist mental health services.

With an excellent daily rate, consistent weekday hours and no after-hours commitments, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist looking for a well-paid locum placement over the Christmas and New Year period.

- Service: Adult Acute Unit and Consultation Liaison
- Dates: 23 December 2026 – 27 January 2027

Working Arrangements

- Monday to Friday – ideally 5 days per week
- No on-call requirements
- No public holiday work





Enjoy a predictable weekday roster without the additional commitments of weekend or on-call shifts.

Requirements

- Specialist registration with AHPRA in Psychiatry
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and Recent Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), or equivalent specialist recognition
- Experience in General Adult Psychiatry
- Experience in acute inpatient psychiatry and consultation liaison would be advantageous
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mental health team
