Position Descriptor: Peterborough High School Is a finalist in the 2026 Public Education Awards for Empowering change : Innovation in Teaching and Learning Award. PHS uses a collaborative block learning and co-teaching model . Co-designed with students and staff , the approach allows students to focus deeply on two subjects at a time while accessing real-time learning and wellbeing support. We are a trauma informed school using the Berry Street learning Model. Daily Sunshine Gatherings, community mentors and dedicated team-oriented planning enable staff, including SSOs, to continually adapt teaching around student needs. The model has measurable improvements in student engagement, wellbeing , satisfaction and behaviour,



creating a more connected learning environment while establishing new ways of working for staff across the school.
This role will involve teaching across our middle school in a multi age learning group and SACE with possibilities in Workplace Practices, AIF and EIF. Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
