TREASURE HUNTERS MARYBOROUGH About the role Treasure Hunters Maryborough is seeking a practical, customer-focused Store Manager to lead and manage a high-performing retail store on High Street in Maryborough.

Working actively with the business owner, you will be responsible for day-to-day store operations and ensure that the store achieves its sales and operational targets; maximises its profitability; anddelivers the highest level of customer service.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Plan, organise and oversee daily store operations to meet sales targets, customer service expectations and operational performance objectives. Supervise, coach and coordinate retail staff, including recruitment support, induction, training, roster planning, performance monitoring and timesheet approvals.

Monitor sales trends, customer demand and seasonal buying patterns to inform product selection, merchandise planning and store sales initiatives. Coordinate purchasing, supplier orders, goods receipting, stock replenishment, stocktakes and inventory controls to maintain appropriate stock availability and minimise shrinkage and wastage. Review merchandise pricing, promotional offers, markdowns and product presentation in consultation with the Business Owner and within delegated authority.

Monitor labour costs, stock expenditure and other operating expenses; contribute to store budgets, cost control and profitability improvements.



Analyse sales and stock data, track key performance indicators, maintain accurate business records and prepare regular operational and financial performance reports for the Business Owner. Ensure products are appropriately displayed and labelled, point-of-sale procedures are followed and the store provides an efficient, positive customer experience.

Manage escalated customer enquiries, refunds, returns and complaints in a professional and timely manner, consistent with applicable consumer law and store policies. Implement and monitor workplace health and safety procedures, loss-prevention measures and relevant retail operating standards.

Qualification & Experience

- Minimum one year of retail management experience from any retail sector.
- Hold a Certificate III or above qualification in the business field, retail management graduates are highly preferred.
- Experience with any point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Knowledge of stock rotation and presentation standards.
- Familiar with inventory management software and other retail technology will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles.




- Proven ability to confidently lead a team.
- Passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating a positive store environment.
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, public holidays and late-night trade.
- Appropriate Australian work rights for the role.
