Intro Recruitment Solutions are partnering with a highly regarded Tier 2 residential builder to recruit an experienced Senior Project Engineer for a landmark Class 2 project near Homebush.
The project comprises 4 residential towers and 264 apartments, incorporating basement, podium and high-rise construction.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Site Team, you'll take ownership of key construction packages, oversee technical coordination and subcontractor performance, and play a key role in driving programme, quality and delivery outcomes across the project.
Our client has a strong Sydney pipeline and offers genuine opportunities to progress into Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of structural, façade and finishes packages
- Manage RFIs, shop drawings, QA processes and project documentation
- Drive subcontractor coordination and monitor programme performance
- Resolve technical issues and coordinate design documentation
- Assist with procurement, cost control and variation management
- Provide technical guidance and support to Project Engineers and junior team members
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
About You
- 5+ years' construction experience, including experience as a Project Engineer
- Solid Class 2 residential or mixed-use construction experience
- Proven experience delivering projects valued at $100M+
- Strong understanding of concrete structures and high-rise construction
- Engineering or Construction Management qualification
- Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple work packages and drive delivery outcomes
- Ambition to progress towards Project Management
