Warehouse & Dispatch All-Rounder – Print & Laser Engraving (Ballina, casual, 3 days a week)

We're a small Ballina business running three online brands from one warehouse:

- Truck N Co (our main brand): personalised, laser-engraved leather gear for Australian truck drivers
- Trade Hub: engraved leather work folders for tradies and businesses
- Compendium Co: premium A4 leather compendiums for professionals

Every order is made for someone, and a lot of them are gifts, so getting it right matters.

We're after a reliable, switched-on all-rounder to join us through the busy Christmas season and into the new year. It's a hands-on role in a small team, so you'll do a bit of everything.

What you'll do

- Pick, pack and dispatch orders across all three brands, through Australia Post and couriers
- Answer the phone and reply to customer emails in a clear, friendly and professional way
- Prepare customer names and logos for engraving, and run our laser engravers
- Receive and unpack stock deliveries and keep stock levels up to date
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised

What you'll bring

- Excellent English, spoken and written. You'll be talking to customers on the phone and writing emails every day, so you need to communicate clearly, warmly and professionally.
- Robust computer skills and a solid understanding of printing (essential).



You'll be confident with design and print software (for example Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Canva or similar), working with image and logo files, and setting up and troubleshooting printers or other print equipment.
- Laser engraving experience is a bonus but not required. If you know printing and computers, we'll teach you the laser.
- Comfortable with online order systems (we use Shopify) and email
- An eye for detail. A wrong letter on an engraved wallet is a wasted wallet.
- Able to lift and carry stock boxes of up to 20 kg, over 5–10 metres at a time
- Reliable and on time, and able to work on your own
- Warehouse, retail, dispatch, print shop or customer service experience is a bonus

Where you'll work

It's an air-conditioned warehouse workspace in Ballina: practical, not an office. It has its own kitchenette, toilet and shower. You'll often be working on your own, with the owner and the online team a phone call or message away.

The details

- Days: 3 days a week, ideally Monday, Thursday and Friday (some flexibility)
- Pay: $35–$38 per hour + super, depending on experience
- Start: early November, with a one-month trial through to early December
- Then: work through to Christmas, take a break over the holidays, and come back in January. There's a real chance to go ongoing and grow into a Warehouse Manager role.
