OWN THE DETAILS. DRIVE SALES. DELIVER THE FIGHT NIGHT.

HEX Fight Series is Australia's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation, bringing high-level combat sports action to audiences across Australia through its television broadcasts on Channel 7. With 30 fighters having progressed directly from HEX Fight Series to the UFC, we're proud of our role in developing talent and creating opportunities at the highest level of the sport.

We're looking for a driven, commercially minded and highly organised Event Manager to help deliver outstanding fight-night experiences while driving commercial success. This role combines event planning and execution with sponsorship development, ticket sales, corporate table bookings and relationship management.

If you're passionate about live events, thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to turn opportunities into results, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Delivery

- Plan, coordinate and deliver live MMA events, from initial preparation through to event-day execution.

- Manage event schedules, logistics, operational requirements and key deadlines.

- Ensure events run smoothly and deliver a high-quality experience for fighters, fans, sponsors and corporate guests.

Production & Supplier Coordination

- Coordinate venues, suppliers, contractors and production teams.

- Oversee event setup, production requirements and operational arrangements.

Sponsorship Sales & Partnerships

- Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities to grow commercial revenue.

- Build relationships with potential sponsors and secure current commercial partnerships.

- Maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors and ensure partnership commitments are delivered.

Ticket Sales & Revenue Growth

- Drive ticket sales and identify opportunities to reach new audiences.

- Support promotional initiatives to increase attendance and maximise event revenue.

- Monitor sales activity and identify opportunities to improve results.

Corporate Tables & Hospitality

- Promote and sell corporate tables to businesses and potential clients.

- Build relationships with corporate customers and manage bookings from enquiry through to event delivery.

- Help maximise corporate hospitality revenue while delivering an excellent guest experience.

Budgets & Event-Day Operations

- Assist with budget tracking, resource planning and supplier coordination.

- Manage event run sheets, coordinate on-the-day activities and respond effectively to last-minute changes.

- Review event performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What You Bring

- A bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related discipline.

- Experience in event management, live event production or event coordination, ideally within sports, entertainment or another fast-paced setting.

- Strong sales, business development and commercial relationship-management skills, with the ability to turn opportunities into revenue.

- Experience in sponsorship sales, ticketing, corporate hospitality or partnership development will be highly regarded.

- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

- Solid organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

- Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event days as required.

- A genuine interest in MMA, sport or live entertainment will be an advantage.
