Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a thriving privately owned business in Melbourne CBD.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employer of choice in their sector, boasting an outstanding office location walking distance from Southern Cross Station. Working as part of a team, you will provide meaningful support to the finance function, playing a key role in ensuring billing accuracy and financial integrity across the business.

This is a permanent full-time position paying $75-85k + super per annum, offering the successful applicant 1 day a week working from home.

The Role

Working within a friendly team environment your responsibilities will include:

- Allocating payments.
- Daily banking, reconciliations
- Attending to copy invoice requests and processing credit notes.
- Credit Control activities for overdue accounts.
- Processing refunds
- Managing Accounts Receivable inbox, attending to all related queries.
- Client account reconciliations.
- Report generation including monthly statements and reminder notices.
- Client relationship management.

Your Skills & Experience

- Minimum 12 months experience in an Accounts Receivable role demonstrating a strong understanding of collections, reconciliations, and credit processes
- Systems savvy with and intermediate level of MS Excel.




- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
