Opportunity:
A busy family dental practice in Lakemba is looking for a general dentist to join its team on Fridays and Saturdays. The position is remunerated at 40% of billings, with a treatment mix that gives you real scope to build strong daily figures.

Implants, All on 4, Invisalign, crowns, bridges, veneers, whitening and laser dentistry are all delivered in house, alongside everyday restorative, endodontic and extraction work, so higher value treatment stays within the practice. Friday runs 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm.

The practice is a preferred provider with a major health fund, accepts every private fund with on the spot claiming, and treats patients under government and veterans’ schemes. Afterpay and payment plans help patients go ahead with the full treatment plan, and two oral health therapists handle hygiene and much of the paediatric work, keeping your chair time focused on the treatment that moves your billings.

Lakemba is a young suburb around 15km from the Sydney CBD, with a median age of 32 and an average household of more than three people. Whole families come through the same practice, building a steady base of recall, restorative and children’s treatment.



The community is culturally diverse, direct trains link the suburb to the city, and its Middle Eastern and South Asian food scene is one of the best in Sydney.

About You:
You are a general dentist with at least 12 months of private practice experience. You diagnose thoroughly, present treatment options and costs in plain language, and are confident across restorative, endodontic and extraction work, with an interest in crown and bridge, cosmetic or implant restorative cases. You manage your appointment book well and understand how to make a percentage of billings arrangement work for you. Full AHPRA registration and weekly Saturday availability are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive general, restorative and paediatric dentistry
- Diagnose, plan treatment and present costs clearly, including payment plan options
- Provide endodontic, extraction, crown and bridge and cosmetic treatment
- Coordinate implant and orthodontic cases with colleagues in the practice
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and meet infection control standards
