Days are flexible and will be agreed with you, whether you want two days alongside another role or a larger commitment.

Hygienists manage preventive and recall care, freeing your appointment book for diagnosis and restorative treatment.

Sunbury is a town of almost 40,000 people on Melbourne’s north western edge, about 40 minutes from the CBD and close to Melbourne Airport. Families make up a large share of the population and household incomes sit above the Victorian median, so patients come in for regular care and are willing to invest in restorative treatment. Outside work, the town’s cafes, nearby cellar doors and the Macedon Ranges give you plenty to do.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive general dentistry to children, adults and older patients
- Carry out examinations, radiographs, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Present treatment options and costs clearly, including payment plan choices
- Provide restorative, endodontic, extraction, crown and bridge and cosmetic treatment
- Restore implant cases and manage emergency appointments
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and follow infection control standards

About You:
You are a general dentist with at least three years of experience, confident working independently through a busy appointment book. You diagnose carefully, communicate treatment and costs in plain language, and patients trust your recommendations. You are comfortable across restorative, endodontic and extraction work, and you enjoy crown and bridge and cosmetic cases. You value continuity of care. Full AHPRA registration is required.
