BRZ Surveying Pty Ltd is seeking motivated, skilled and experienced surveyors to join our growing team in Far North Queensland.

We currently provide surveying services across civil construction, infrastructure and engineering projects. With plans to expand our service offerings, we are interested in hearing from surveyors at different stages of their careers, from capable field surveyors through to experienced senior professionals.

Whether your background is in construction and engineering surveying or cadastral surveying, we want to hear from you.

We are looking to expand into cadastral surveying and establish this as an additional service within BRZ Surveying. For the right senior cadastral candidate, this presents an opportunity to help develop the service from the ground up, build a client base and play a key role in shaping a new division of the business.

Construction & Engineering Surveyors

We are seeking surveyors with experience in civil construction, infrastructure and engineering projects.

Responsibilities may include:

- Construction set-out and as-constructed surveys.

- Civil earthworks, roadworks, drainage and pavement surveys.

- Engineering set-out and detail surveys.

- Survey control establishment and verification.

- Machine control support, calibration and site set-up.

- Processing survey data and preparing plans and deliverables.

- Interpreting engineering drawings, design surfaces and specifications.

- Liaising with contractors, engineers and project teams.

Trimble experience is highly regarded. Candidates should be competent with Trimble equipment and software or demonstrate a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly.

Overtime is paid, with competitive remuneration based on experience and capability.

Cadastral Surveyors – Including Senior Consultancy Development Opportunity

BRZ Surveying intends to expand its operations into cadastral surveying and is looking for the right person to help make this happen.

We are interested in hearing from cadastral surveyors,



particularly experienced senior professionals who are looking for more than a traditional surveying role and want to contribute to building a new service offering within an established surveying business.

Depending on your experience and the level of the role, responsibilities may include:

- Cadastral surveys, boundary identification and reinstatement.

- Property boundary surveys and investigation of existing survey evidence.

- Subdivision surveys and associated documentation.

- Cadastral research, calculations and plan preparation.

- Developing a cadastral service offering, including the systems, procedures and quality assurance processes required to operate at a consultancy level.

- Building relationships with clients, developers, consultants and other industry contacts.

- Identifying business opportunities and developing a sustainable pipeline of future cadastral work.

- Establishing project management, pricing and operational processes.

- Helping shape the long-term direction and growth of the cadastral division.

Candidates undertaking cadastral work requiring independent certification must hold the relevant Queensland cadastral registration.

About You

Depending on the position, we are looking for people who have:

- Experience in construction, engineering and/or cadastral surveying.

- Relevant surveying qualifications and technical capability.





- Experience using GNSS, total stations and surveying software.

- Competence with Trimble equipment and software, or an eagerness to learn quickly.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A current driver's licence.

- A willingness to travel and work away from home as project requirements dictate.
