Buildability Group is recruiting Parks & Gardens Labourers for a local council for the busy summer season. If you enjoy working outdoors and want to help keep your local parks and public spaces looking their best, we’d like to hear from you.

The role

- Mowing, whipper snipping and edging parks, reserves and sportsgrounds
- Gardening, weeding, mulching and planting
- Hedging, pruning and green waste removal
- Litter collection and general upkeep of public spaces
- Operating small plant and equipment (ride-on mowers, blowers, hedgers)
- Reporting hazards and damage to council assets

Essential

- Current driver licence
- Ability to do physical outdoor work in hot weather
- Commitment to secure work practices

Highly regarded: previous parks,



landscaping or horticulture experience; ride-on mower experience; chemical handling (ChemCert) or Certificate II/III in Horticulture

What’s on offer

- $37 – $42 per hour, depending on experience
- Ongoing work through the summer season
- Opportunity to gain local government experience
