Opportunity:
Private practice in Mornington is looking for two dentists. One takes over from a long term dentist who leaves behind a strong existing patient following, and the other replaces a clinician returning overseas at the end of the year.

The patient mix keeps the work varied. The practice treats families across generations, from children under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule through to retirees, so you move between general, restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry across the day. It is a preferred provider for five major health funds.

You work with autonomy and clinical support, alongside more than a dozen dentists, with mentorship in cosmetic, surgical and implant dentistry available as your caseload develops.

Location:
Mornington is the heart of the Mornington Peninsula, about an hour from Melbourne, with a mature local population (the median age is 50) and many long term homeowners who own their homes outright. Families are drawn by schools including Mornington Secondary College and Padua College, and holidaymakers swell the population every summer.





That mix of retirees, families and visitors supports steady demand for general, restorative and implant dentistry across all ages, from children through to dentures, and a loyal local following that returns year after year.

About You:
You hold current AHPRA registration with no restrictions and bring at least two years of Australian clinical experience. You are competent in general and restorative dentistry, communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, and take ownership of your own patients and treatment plans.
You explain treatment options in plain language, hold yourself to a high standard of ethical care, and are committed to your own professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver general and restorative dentistry to an established patient base
Provide cosmetic and implant treatment as your skills allow
Treat patients across all ages, from children through to dentures
Explain treatment options and costs clearly to patients
Work collaboratively with the clinical and support team
Maintain ethical clinical standards and thorough clinical records
