- 2 Year Traineeship
- Wage range $412 - $838 + 12% super per week (the rate is dependent on year of leaving school)

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Library Officer and based in Windsor NSW, this traineeship will allow you to develop a broad range of skills, gain practical work experience in the library sector and receive an accredited qualification which will help to kick start your career for future success.

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning and who enjoys working with children, young people and seniors. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic person looking to develop a career in Libraries, then this role is for you.





It is also essential that you do not already possess a Certificate III or higher-level qualification.

Applicants should note that continuing employment beyond the twenty-four-month traineeship period cannot be guaranteed.

Essential Criteria:

- HSC or relevant work experience
- Computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and responding to customer needs
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Willingness to take instruction and follow through on tasks in a team setting, but also work independently
- Has a valid Working With Children Check or willing to obtain

The Rewards:

A certificate IV or Diploma in Library & Information services combined with on the job experience. The traineeship wage will be offered as per the Local Government (State) Award 2026.
