Greystones Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hands-on Junior Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Dandenong South.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a manufacturing setting. Previous production experience would be advantageous; however, candidates with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Working alongside an experienced production team, you will receive on-the-job training and develop valuable skills in machine operation, quality control and production processes.

About the Role

As a Trainee / Assistant Team Leader, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the lamination department, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the daily operation of production and lamination machinery.

- Feeding raw materials into machines and monitoring production processes.

- Conducting quality inspections of materials and finished products.

- Cutting decorative foil and preparing finished products for packaging.

- Preparing pallets, packing finished goods and organising materials for production.

- Assisting senior operators with machine setup and adjustments.

- Maintaining a clean,



secure and organised working environment.

- Following workplace health and safety procedures and production instructions.

- Working collaboratively with the production team to minimise downtime and achieve production targets.

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable and enjoys working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience in manufacturing, production or factory operations (advantageous but not essential).

- A willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Basic practical skills and confidence using hand tools.

- A positive, can-do attitude and reliable work ethic.

- A commitment to workplace safety.
