Direct Chemist Outlet Morayfield is looking for an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our new pharmacy team.
You’ll work alongside the pharmacists and wider team to keep the dispensary running smoothly, while providing friendly and professional service to our customers.

What you’ll be doing
Your day-to-day will include:
- Assisting pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing.
- Assisting with scripts coming into and out of the dispensary.
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Assisting customers with general healthcare and product enquiries within your role.
- Managing stock, including ordering, rotating and storing medications.
- Supporting Webster packing and other dispensary tasks.
- Helping keep the dispensary organised and running efficiently.
- Working closely with the pharmacy team to provide a good customer experience.
What we’re looking for
You have dispensary experience
Previous experience working as a Dispensary Technician is required. You understand the importance of accuracy, organisation and following the right processes.
You care about customers
You’re friendly, approachable and understand that good pharmacy service is about more than just getting the job done.
You work well with others
You enjoy being part of a team, communicate well and are happy to help out when things get busy.
You pay attention to detail
Accuracy is important in the dispensary.
You take pride in your work and don’t cut corners.
You’ll also need:
- Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician.
- S2 and S3 certificates.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A caring and team-focused approach.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
Experience with the following would be an advantage:
- FRED Dispense.
- Webster packing.
