Myndshift Group is seeking 4 X Boilermakers with strong heavy fabrication experience across mobile mining plant to join a leading ASX-listed mining contractor. These are excellent contract-to-permanent opportunities offering a strong hourly rate, a rotating 7/7 dayshift and nightshift roster, and camp accommodation with meals provided. Transport is also available from Mackay and Townsville, making this a excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople looking for their next long-term role in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out heavy fabrication, welding and structural repairs on large mobile mining equipment.
- Complete repairs to buckets, trays, booms, chassis, structural components and other heavy equipment assemblies.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
- Identify structural defects, wear and damage and complete repairs to the required standards.
- Work safely and efficiently within a high-performing maintenance team.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and quality across all tasks.

Equipment Fleet:

- Liebherr: R 9800,



R 9400 and R 9350 excavators
- Hitachi: EX3600 excavators
- Caterpillar: D10 and D11 dozers, 793 and 794 haul trucks
- Komatsu: WA600 and WA900 loaders
- EH5000: Ultra-class haul trucks

About You:

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker.
- Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11
- A NPC (National Police Clearance) or willingness to obtain one
- Demonstrated heavy fabrication experience within mining, heavy industry or a similar environment.
- Previous experience working on large mobile plant and heavy mining equipment.
- Strong welding, fabrication and structural repair skills.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The ability to work effectively within a team on a rotating day/night roster.
