Working within a major investment servicing transformation programme, you will be responsible for analysing, transforming, loading and reconciling investment data across external sources and the organisation's core investment accounting platform, HiPortfolio.

This role requires someone who understands both investment securities and how they are represented and accounted for within HiPortfolio.
You will work closely with investment operations, fund accounting, technology and project delivery teams to ensure investment data is accurately migrated, validated and reconciled.
Key Responsibilities

- Analyse investment data received from third-party providers, custodians and external systems.
- Understand the structure and characteristics of investment securities, including equities, fixed income and other traded instruments.
- Configure, map and validate security master data and instrument setups within HiPortfolio.
- Interpret source data and transform it into formats suitable for loading into HiPortfolio.
- Extract investment and accounting data from HiPortfolio for analysis, validation and reconciliation.
- Perform source-to-target reconciliations, identifying discrepancies between external data and the accounting platform.
- Investigate and explain reconciliation differences, including those arising from accounting methodologies, data definitions or system configurations.
- Develop data mapping specifications, transformation rules and reconciliation processes.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and support successful migration outcomes.

Skills & Experience Essential

- Strong, demonstrable hands-on experience with HiPortfolio / HiPort within an investment accounting or fund administration environment.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, particularly equities and fixed-income securities.
- Experience with security setup, investment data structures and accounting treatment within HiPortfolio.
- Proven ability to interpret, map and transform third-party investment data for loading into HiPortfolio.
- Experience extracting and analysing data from HiPor
