APS Commercial Management is looking for a reliable and motivated Casual Commercial Cleaner to join our growing local team.

This position suits someone seeking flexible casual work who is comfortable with after-hours commercial cleaning and filling in for shifts when regular team members are unavailable.

Employment: Casual / relief cleaning
Hours: Monday to Friday – 1.5 hours per day, with cleaning to be completed anytime between 5:00 pm and 7:00 am

About the Role

You may work across different commercial client sites depending on operational requirements. Your duties may include:

• General commercial and office cleaning
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and amenities
• Cleaning kitchens and staff areas
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Emptying bins and managing waste
• Restocking consumables where required
• Following site-specific cleaning schedules and checklists
• Completing after-hours cleaning independently
• Filling in for cleaners who are sick, on leave or otherwise unavailable
• Reporting maintenance,



safety or cleaning issues to APS management
• Maintaining a skilled standard when working at client premises

Hours & Availability

This position requires cleaning Monday to Friday for approximately 1.5 hours per day.

The cleaning can be completed at any time between 5:00 pm and 7:00 am, allowing flexibility around the cleaner’s availability while ensuring the site is completed before the next business day.

Additional relief shifts may also be offered depending on staff availability and client requirements.

Applicants who can occasionally accept additional shifts at short notice will be highly regarded.

• Physically capable of general commercial cleaning duties

• Responsive and able to communicate promptly with supervisors and management
• Able to travel between local sites when required

Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential for applicants who demonstrate reliability,



a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Pay

Pay is in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020 [MA000022], including the relevant casual loading and any applicable after-hours, weekend or public holiday penalty rates depending on the shift worked.
