Dunsteel Engineering is on the lookout for an experienced HC driver who's not only skilled with steel but also committed to doing the job right - without unnecessary hassle. This role is much more than just driving; it's a hands-on logistics position that demands attention to detail and real expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate HC trucks on mostly local, and occasional interstate routes
- Load and unload structural steel safely and efficiently
- Ensure every load is properly secured - no shortcuts allowed
- Assist with forklift duties around the yard
- Conduct daily truck inspections and complete basic paperwork
- Collaborate with the workshop and yard teams
- Adhere strictly to WHS, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility regulations




- Valid HC Licence (mandatory)
- Valid Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Proven experience hauling steel or other heavy loads
- Strong grasp of load restraint techniques
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Physically fit and willing to participate in yard tasks

Desirable Qualifications:

- Dogging and rigging certifications are a plus
