We are an established Water Truck manufacturer seeking an experienced welder/fabricator for a 3 month casual position. The role entails reading drawings in order to fabricate skid frames and associated pipework. At the end of the 3 months it is possible to move to a full time role in our organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate skid frames and associated pipework
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings with precision and accuracy
- Perform MIG welding on mild steel materials
- Perform some rotowelding of pipe pieces
- Heavy lifting and standing for long periods

About you

- Minimum 3-5 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Proficient in MIG welding processes
- Able to read and easily understand drawings
- Above average, skilled welder/fabricator
- Trade certificate or completed apprenticeship in welding/fabrication required
- Lathe experience an advantage
- Potential successful applicants will need to perform a weld test
