Ready to take the next step in your HVAC project management career? We’re partnering with a Tier I HVAC contractor to recruit a Project Manager for their growing light commercial division in Melbourne.

Delivering mechanical projects valued up to $5 million, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with around two years’ experience who wants to build on their existing capabilities and work towards larger, more complex projects in the future.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of light commercial HVAC projects from initial planning through to completion, working with established clients and coordinating the resources required to deliver successful outcomes.

You’ll also benefit from the support of an established business with in-house engineering, drafting and administration teams, allowing you to focus on project delivery while developing your commercial and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage HVAC projects valued up to $5 million from award through to practical completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and project stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, variations, procurement, programmes and project reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with Tier II builder clients and ensure projects are delivered to specification.




- Work closely with internal engineering, drafting and administration teams to support efficient project delivery.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and maintain high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.

About You

- Approximately two years’ experience managing HVAC/mechanical projects, within a mechanical contractor.
- Experience delivering commercial projects for Tier II builders.
- A sound understanding of project financials, programming, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and project teams.
- A proactive, organised approach and the confidence to take ownership of project outcomes.
- Most importantly, the ambition to continue developing your skillset and progress into major projects.
