Customer Care Team Lead | Temp | Immediate Start Your new company An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Customer Care Team Lead to join a well-known and much-loved Australian retail brand on an immediate temporary basis. Based on the outskirts of the city his role will provide hands-on leadership and support to an established Customer Care team while the business recruits permanently. Your new role Working closely with the wider business, you will be responsible for keeping the Customer Care function running smoothly day to day, including:
- Leading and supporting the Customer Care team
- Managing customer escalations and complex enquiries
- Monitoring customer tickets and ensuring timely resolution
- Managing team rosters and timesheets
- Providing additional coverage during periods of leave
- Supporting consistent, high-quality customer service across multiple channels
- Using customer and service data to identify issues and opportunities for improvement

What you'll need




to succeed You will ideally have previous experience as a Customer Care Team Leader, Customer Service Team Leader or Customer Experience Team Leader, preferably within retail, e-commerce or a similarly fast-paced customer environment. You will bring:
- Proven experience leading a customer service or customer care team
- Confidence managing escalations and competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive systems capability and the ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on approach and the confidence to step into an existing operation quickly
