Jobplay is looking for experienced formwork carpenters for ongoing projects on sites between Kirra and Brisbane.

The rate is $55–$60 per hour depending on experience, with full-time hours and a steady pipeline of work. [Monday to Friday / some Saturdays]

What you’ll be doing

- Setting out, building and stripping formwork for slabs, columns, walls, beams and stairs
- Working with conventional and system formwork
- Installing edge protection, penetrations, cast-ins and set-downs
- Working alongside steel fixers and concreters to keep pours on program
- Keeping your work area protected and tidy, and following site WHS and SWMS

What you’ll need

- Proven formwork experience: commercial, civil or high-rise preferred
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Your own hand tools
- Able to read drawings and work to tolerance




- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in Queensland conditions
- Reliable, on time, and able to work as part of a crew
- Full working rights in Australia
- Own reliable transport, since sites move between the Gold Coast and Brisbane

A bonus, not essential:

- Cert III in Carpentry or Formwork/Falsework
- Working at Heights, EWP (Yellow Card), dogging or rigging tickets
- Leading hand experience
