We are seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Private Household Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy family residence.

Our family has four (not-so-little) children, a busy lifestyle and a property that includes a range of family and farm animals. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our household operations, maintain exceptional standards throughout the home and coordinate the many details that keep family life running smoothly.

This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, anticipates the needs of a household and approaches their responsibilities with professionalism, initiative and discretion. Alongside housekeeping and property coordination, the role will involve providing childcare support when required and helping maintain the family's daily routines.

Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing the daily running of the home, maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation.
- Managing daily cleaning, laundry, linen changes, bed making, guest room preparation and regular deep cleaning.
- Identifying maintenance requirements, coordinating repairs and managing relationships with external contractors, including window cleaners, pool services and handymen.
- Coordinating household maintenance schedules, tracking associated costs and liaising with the family and Accountant regarding expenses.
- Assisting with the children's routines when required, including getting them ready for school and preparing school lunches.
- Supporting the family's household routines,

including ensuring the children participate in feeding the farm and family animals and collecting eggs from the chickens.
- Managing food waste for chicken feed or compost and coordinating the harvesting of homegrown produce.
- Monitoring housekeeping equipment and supplies, reporting damage and ensuring the home remains well maintained and efficiently managed.

This is a full time position of 38 hours per week, ideally Monday to Friday. There is flexibility to structure working hours around your lifestyle and the family's commitments, with a shared understanding that the household's needs are managed effectively.

We are looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued extension of our household, bringing consistency, initiative and peace of mind to our family.
