Structural Assessments is a small structural and forensic engineering firm that upholds a culture of continued learning and engineering excellence. We are seeking a graduate Structural Engineer for forensic investigations and reporting.

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

Forensic investigations of damaged buildings and houses

Structural assessments of damaged buildings

Report writing for forensic and geotechnical investigations

Carrying out Geotechnical Site investigations

Quoting and Tendering for engineering projects

Communicating with clients via phone and email

Since the onset of COVID we have closed our office and all staff travel directly from home to testing sites without having to report in to a central company location.



The job involves working from home and carrying out site visits.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Great people skills. Being able to communicate effectively on the phone, and through emails

Willing to do manual labor for site testing

ability to work independently, with minimal supervision as well as part of a team and collaborate to problem solve

Inquisitive and ready to question

sense of initiative, and willingness to learn current skills

excellent English communication and people skills
