Position purpose

Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods accurately and safely, helping ensure orders are completed on time and inventory records are maintained.

Key responsibilities

- Pick items from orders and check quantities, product codes and condition.
- Pack, label and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Receive deliveries, check them against purchase orders and report discrepancies or damage.
- Put stock away in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Replenish pick locations and assist with stocktakes.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, if trained and authorised.
- Keep the warehouse, work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including safe manual-handling practices.
- Report stock issues to the supervisor.




- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.

Skills and experience

- Positive attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic reading, counting and computer skills.
- Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Forklift licence is desirable.

Physical and work requirements

- Regular standing, walking, bending and reaching.
- Manual handling of goods, within applicable safety limits.
- Work may involve repetitive tasks and varying warehouse conditions.
- Ability to meet agreed productivity, accuracy and safety standards.

Performance expectations

- Orders are picked and packed accurately and on time.
- Stock is handled carefully.
- Safety procedures and workplace standards are consistently followed.
